Charcoal has been a hobby of mine since college. I like that it forgives mistakes. You can smudge it with a finger, lift it back out with an eraser, and keep working a drawing until it finally looks right.

Most of what I draw is animals, a lot of them sharks, along with the odd landscape. Every so often I make something about Persia and Iran, where my family is from. Those pieces usually lean on Persian script, with each letter built out of lines of tiny handwritten text.

This page is just a place to keep the drawings together.
